If you own property in Collierville, keeping your electrical system efficient and code-compliant involves a few localized factors. The homes surrounding the Historic Collierville Square carry incredible architectural charm, but their underlying electrical systems often tell a different story. Many of these older properties still rely on ungrounded cloth wiring, knob-and-tube configurations, or outdated electrical panels that lack the capacity for modern HVAC units, EV chargers, and smart home tech. Any major electrical modification in Shelby County requires strict adherence to local laws. The Town of Collierville Codes Division enforces rigid standards to guarantee residential safety. We handle the permitting process with them directly to make sure each connection is up to code.
